It seems Dragon Ball Super Chapter 104 might bring Black Freeza Arc or maybe another one or two filler chapters in between. As we all know the training of Broly Arc and Gohan/Picollo power-up Arc has just finished. But it is for sure that they are bringing Freeza back into the story with a completely new form with an insane power-up.
About Dragon Ball Super Chapter 104- A Major Shift from Author’s Perspective
Since the story was governed mainly by Akira Toriyama who was the main author of Dragon Ball, who died a few months back, the story and whole burden of Dragon Ball falls on Toyotaro (Akira Toriyama’s Student and Co-Author) who will be continuing the Dragon Ball Super Manga. Due to the Death of Akira Toriyama Manga went on hiatus/break since to mourn the original author and give time for Toyotaro to get back to creating the story, earlier it was Story by Akira Toriyama, Art by Toyotarou. We think Toyotaro will be able to deliver us with some expectations since he has been involved with Akira Sensei for years.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 104 Release Date Approximate
It is being speculated that the Dragon Ball Super might resume its monthly Manga release with Chapter 104 on June 20, 2024. Since its last release of Chapter 103 on March 20, 2024, was 2 months back, it might have given enough time to the new author to cope and the Manga has been going on hiatus due to the original author’s death.

Speculations/Theories about Dragon Ball Super Chapter 104
Many speculations and theories are going on about the upcoming chapter, as follows:
1. Black Freeza Arc- Freeza might attack soon to get an upper hand on Saiyan with a new form
2. Filler Chapter- There might be a filler chapter before the next Freeza Arc starts
3. Another Villain Arc- Goku and the team have already trained with Gohan, and Broly so there might be an introduction of a new villain.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103 Recap
In the past few Chapters Gohan and Picollo have powered up quite a bit and unlocked new forms and the same is the case with Broly who has learned to control his power without going berserk. Previous Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103 brought us Gohan’s new Berserk form vs Ultra Instinct Goku at the initial start of the chapter. Even Broly fought Gohan and he learned to control his power. Everyone including Vegeta trained to their fullest and at the end of the chapter, they all got exhausted and went back to Earth from Beerus’s planet where they had a get-together. The chapter ends on a note- We are deeply saddened by the passing of Akira Toriyama, his work was an inspiration to all, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

The manga started its serialization in June 2015. The anime adaption premiered 3 years later in 2018. Later that year, in December a sequel movie titled ” Dragon Ball Super: Broly” was released.
